This is a small command line program that allows removing specific frames from an ID3 tag.
I am using some software to finally get my mp3 library organized, and so far every application I have used has added frames to the id3 tag without my consent, including a bunch of frames that I have no use for.
After searching and searching for a program that would let me remove just the frames I don't want in the tags, and being unable to find one, I spent a few minutes to create this.
To use it, put it in your cygwin path, and call it like so:
id3rm COMM *.mp3
which will remove all COMM frames from the ID3 tags in all mp3 files in the current folder.
Most common usage for myself is like this:
find . -name "*.mp3" -exec id3rm TXXX {} \;
which removes all the TXXX frame in all mp3 files in the current directory structure.
